On Saturday, September 19, 2026, Ba Na Hills Golf Club was not merely a venue for fierce and spectacular swings. Set amid the lush green mountain slopes surrounded by clouds, it became a gathering point of emotions, warm handshakes, and exceptional sportsmanship during the prestigious annual IMG Trophy 2026.
More than 130 golfers gathered to create a true celebration for the golfing community. A standout highlight of this year’s edition was the presence of Mr. Mike Orloff, a PGA Member of America & Australia and Founder of Golf Industry Central. The participation of a leading international golf industry expert, combined with the passion of all attending golfers, not only elevated the professional stature of the event but also inspired a strong spirit of connection throughout the day.
From early morning, the staging area bustled with warm greetings and anticipation. At the driving range, golfers enthusiastically engaged in 1:1 Club Fitting & Demo Sessions hosted by Titleist, experiencing cutting-edge club technology and optimizing their equipment ahead of the tournament.
The official opening ceremony presented a breathtaking visual with a colorful smoke-shot ceremony rising into the mountain air of Ba Na. Following a commemorative group photo, the shotgun siren sounded, officially launching golfers into an 18-hole journey of challenge and exhilaration.

The absolute focal point of the tournament belonged to Mr. Mario Mendis with an extraordinary 182-yard shot on Hole #16. This spectacular Hole-in-One saw him claim the entire grand HIO package at Hole #16, including the VinFast VF2 car, the Hainan Golf Tour, and 2 luxury stay vouchers at Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills. This historic ace not only marked a personal career highlight but also sparked electrifying celebrations across the entire field.
From the opening tee shot to the golden hours of dusk, what resonated most across the course was its unique atmosphere, joyful laughter echoing from buggies, moments of suspense on the tee boxes, and loud applause ringing through the fairways.
As sunset fell over the course, play concluded with a relaxing Cocktail & Minigame Reception overlooking Hole #18. This was followed by an elegant and intimate Gala Dinner & Awards Ceremony. Toasting glasses, harmonious music, and shared stories around the dining tables transformed the evening into a complete experience of leisure and enjoyment, proving once again that golf is not just a sport, but an art of living.
The most anticipated moment of the evening was the crowning of the champions. Best Gross and Best Nett remained the two ultimate honors. Best Gross celebrated exceptional technical skill and composure, while Best Nett recognized consistency, smart strategy, and endurance over 18 holes.
